Im about to brew my first batch of Golden Lager.
19Litres
My yeast is WLP830 X 1 vial, is this enough yeast.
Mnay forums I read say you need twice the amount you would normally use for ale

Thanks for that.
So yes according to Mr Malty I need two vials
And just to show what little I know, whats the worst thing that could happen if I used two different types of yeast?
As in 1 vial of 570 and 1 vial of 830 WLP?

You could culture up the WLP830 you have either?

-This is the cheaper option. Just make a 2 - 2 1/2 liter starter, and pitch the WLP830. You can mix two lager strains just fine; I don't know anything about 570, though. I used 830 in a Bock and it was a fantastic yeast strain; it just got out of the way.
