I re-read the original and the second link and my head hurts now.
To be precise, it seems AB-InBev didn't buy *the* Budweiser naming rights, but just Budweiser naming rights - as in, both breweries based in Ceske Budejovice can make a beer called Budweiser.
Am I right here?

Samson have sold their right to do so to A-B InBev. A-B InBev can make Budweiser beer in the town, but don't have a brewery in which to do it. Chances are they'll contract Samson to do it for them.
