Finished the old year with a bottle of Leanne Follain, started the new year with a bottle of Winter's Ale.

I'd love to try the Winter's Ale again next year, but with half of the spices added.

VERY spicy.

Disclaimer: I drank this at room temperature, as I prefer most dark ales at this temp; this may have made and already pretty spiced-up beer seem even more spicy.

I didn't find it excessively spicy (not like Pete's Wicked Winter Ale) but I could do with a little less liquorice. Still, I'm happy to see another Irish seasonal beer along with Dungarvan's Coffee and Oatmeal and White Gypsy's God Jul.
