Book 14 years 4 months ago #13

Got this book as a stocking filler. The first thing that struck me was the lack of info on yeast in all the recipes

From another thread....

He said he didn't have room in the book to go into the necessary details of each yeast as each brewery uses it, for each beer.
It's a complete other days work, rather than being laissez faire about it.[/quote:1zzo9y5f]IMO this makes the book incomplete. It would have been better to make it a bigger book than an incomplete one (and would an extra line or two in each recipe have made the book [i:1zzo9y5f]that[/i:1zzo9y5f] much bigger?) That said, it is a very good resource for helping to develop your own recipes rather than attempting clones i.e. 'Brew [b:1zzo9y5f]Your Own[/b:1zzo9y5f] British Real Ale'
