While you are washing up at the sink, your mind wanders to the possibility of cutting out the stainless steel drainer to use as a strainer plate for your new mash tun.[img:1fdpgmbs]http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h402/DEMPSEY9/wolstan%20haven%20brewery/P1010016.jpg[/img:1fdpgmbs]

Umm... Are you married? Still??

(This would get me murdered, for sure.)

Yeah still married, the trick is to get her to suggest a course of action that leads to your benefit,it goes like this,
"you know darling,it is really a pain having to prepare washed veg in the same sink that you are using for cleaning, but we dont have room for 2 sinks in the kitchen",
sigh with despair,
she might then prompt that you can get a bowl and half bowl sink that fits the same place a single bowl sink fits. You praise her thinking and lament abit about having to fit it plus the cost, but relent as it will enhance the kitchen.

...while cleaning up your flooded apartment you grab the tape measure, confirm the waterline is 5cm below the top of your fermenter, then rack to a keg.

... it is perfectly acceptable to start preparing for Christmas in October. Or June. Or March.
