As usual, nothing decent to drink (beerwise) in Spain. Sticking to Mahou, avoiding San Miguel and Cruzcampo. Looks like two weeks of Tinto Verano and Pacharan.

What is Mahou?

I see it's made by the Mahou San Miguel Group!

You are in the right part of Spain for Cervezas Alhambra beers. I was lucky enough to find some of their Reserva 1925 last month in a supermarket in Gran Canaria. 4 pack with a free glass ~€7 and it wasn't bad at all.

The Alhambra is quite decent but you can only seem to get it at select supermarkets (Al Campo has it, OpenCor and SuperSol don't).

I got it in a Supercor. Surely Marbella has an El Corte Ingles. Would have thought that the beer was more widely available so close to Granada though

Although not micro, "Legado de Yuste" is pretty good as far as Spanish beer goes and has a great history. It's the closest to a "trappist beer" that Spain has to offer.

Some of the speciality Estrella Damm products aren't too bad either. (Voll Damm doppio malto, A.K. Damm, their new Weiss beer is incredibly close to a proper Munich hefeweizen, and even their bock is acceptable, too.)
