Does anyone know of a comprehensive list of every brewer in the world by country in Europe (the scope of the project may grow depending on ease of data collection)? I'm doing a small project where this would save me trawling through endless sites which would still only result in a snapshot of the big picture compared to one good source.

I'm looking for the big guys (with individual locations of their brewerys) as well as the micros.

Any help would be appreciated!

The biggest database I know of is on Beerme.com[/url:vorti8x7]. Beermapping.com[/url:vorti8x7] uses its data but also compiles its own so the two may be worth comparing. Ron Pattinson also has listings on EuropeanBeerGuide.net[/url:vorti8x7], though it's not always very up-to-date.

Are any of these a good source to see which big brewery owns your favorite "craft breweries"/ a significant stake in your favorite "craft breweries"?
