This post's link to beer is tenuous at best, but here we go anyway.

Does anyone know a reliable carpenter to do some work on my house? The job includes insulating a converted attic and replacing a stairs with a wider one.

The storage area under the stairs is to be set aside for beer related activities, exclusively.

We have tried several carpenters, but when it takes two months of hounding someone, just to get a quote out of him, you begin to wonder if he would actually do the job at all.

I hope someone can help. I won't be able to get my kegerator built until this job is done.

Is that not an oxymoron?

We had a handy man/ cabinet maker add presses and counter to our kitchen, I can check to see if he is looking for jobs?

Actually, that would be handy. We also want some fitted wardrobes done.
