I saw this headline on the RTE web-site - and thought hang on - why are the fire service giving out about people brewing beer in leitrim!

Just think what a second hand fire engine could be used for?

What with large storage tanks, tubing (large diameter), connectors, pumps etc. they would make a great mobile brewery?? The BA sets would make great aireators for the wort

I had to turn of Google Alerts (which, for the uninitiated, sends a list of certain key phrases as they're added to the web) for the phrase "Trouble Brewing" as my inbox was constantly filling up with non-brewery related headlines.
