Lidl has a spanner set for 7.99 with sizes fitting Cornie Kegs (22) / Norms Taps at the moment.

I sourced thermostatically controlled sockets (0-35C) which will drive a 3kw rad for 39 Euro from Mahon Ronan Electrical Ltd, Unit 14, Greenhills Industrial Village, Drogheda

It will keep a small room at a consistent temp (during winter!).

Also a 3/8" inline stop valve for gas between reg and cornie keg from Norgren in Glasnevin - 6.99E - Product D20GR0600

Anyone recommend a 'party' style portable Gas for Cornie. I have an event I am supplying beer for and want to avoid bringing my CO2 tank (it would be wrecked/emptied for sure)

For a party you could do worse than use the keg chargers and disposable co2 bulbs. The Homebrewcompany stock them.

Thanks for the 3/8 stop valve for the gas bottle. -I got the Blichmann Beer Gun for Christmas and was just getting to hooking it up yesterday and I realized that I can't use it until I split the "gas out" coming off of my regulator in 2 ways and then attach attach another stop valve.

-Do you know if they sell the "t/y" valves so that I can gas up 2 corneys off of one tank?

-It's essentially a "2 trigger" counter pressure filler so you have to hook it both up to the "beer out" on a corney, and also a split "gas out" from your gas canister so that the pressure is matched between the corney keg and the bottle filler itself (which in theory eliminates foaming and leaves the CO2 in solution).

i think what you need are
'union y' 3/8th", D20820700
and 2x hand valve'union' D20GR0600

so you connect gas to regulator, then connect regulator to union y, which splits it in 2, then run two short runs of 3/8 (say 1foot) then put a hand cut valve on both of them -no more connectors required - these are all push fittings.
you now have gas to two cornies which can be turned off when not in use.

as regards the 'out' side, i presume you want to keep these beers in seperate lines - didnt quite follow you about the counter filler <!-- s:oops: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt="" title="Embarassed" /><!-- s:oops: -->

the cut off valves were about 6 euro, id imagine the splitter is slightly cheaper.

happy hunting!

I have one of the beer guns, its not what i would call a counter pressure filler, yes it has co2 but thats to flush the bottle with before adding the beer to minimise o2 pickup
during the transfer, counter pressure fillers stopper the bottle and attempt to equalise the pressure between the keg and the bottle.
The reduction in foaming from the beer gun comes from the a) the coldness of the beer and the bottles (its recommneded to have both cold), b) the reduction of the pressure in the cornie to below 5 psi before attempting to transfer and c) the long length of small diameter beer line thats feeds the gun the resistance of which the beer travelling through reduces foaming.
Barley bottom i thinks sells y-splitters at reasonable prices, he'll bung it in an envelope so postage shouldn't be very much.
