Anyone catch the beer talk on The Last word this evening? A guy has written a book listing the best 100 beers and ciders in Ireland. He gave a talk about various micros and such and tried his best to answer Cooper's usual inane questions. He's on Newstalk tomorrow in the usual beer slot instead of Dean McGuinness. The book might be worth a look but I think it's aimed at the non craft drinker judging from the interview.

Missed it, but the podcast should be going up at 7.30. What time was he on at, roughly?

Thanks for that. Listened to it while finishing ironing a shirt (very domesticated me, but it took about half an hour to do one!). But jebus! I'm glad I don't listen to yer man Cooper every day! If he asked one more time "what's it made of" the iron was going through the bloody monitor! Let the man talk!
