Hey there folks. Im about 3 days away from using my kk for the first time and am a little unsure of a few things.... Do I need to add sugar too the kk when I syphon from my fermenter into it and how much sugar should I use?? Iv a batch of St.Peter's ruby red on the go(5gal batch) Its been fermenting nicely at 18oc for 6 days now and isn't far from been ready to be syphoned into my kk.
I have the 8gram bulbs of co2/nitrogen and figure that these are no good for carbonating my beer,or are they? Is it impossible to force carbonate my beer with these?Or is adding sugar to the kk critical to getting carbonation?
