Hi All,

We just wanted to put out a general call for papers/articles/knowledge base items to try and encourage you all to write up something you think other members would be interested in. Things have slowed down recently (I blame "summer"), so it'd be nice to get a bit of momentum back into the front page.

So, if you have some things to tell us about cities around Europe oo the world from a beer perspective, or some advanced brewing techniques you'd like to explain and share, or anything related to beer and brewing at all, drop a mail to <!-- e --><a href="This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.">This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (this hits both Séan and myself) and we can make you an author. Once made an author you can add an item. This then gets reviewed by the admin team and will then (subject to usually minor edits) be published.

It'd be great to build up a stock of items so we could publish one every couple of weeks. Remember, this is your site, so step up and share <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

I would like to add my tuppence worth to what Adeptus has just said. When I talk to other members at an event such as the recent Meet & Taste session, I become aware of how much knowledge is out there. If you read my "beer travel" articles, you will see how humble they are! If you go somewhere interesting, take a few notes and report back to the rest of us.

Other ideas for articles might be;

Beer with food,
My conversion to craft beer!

heading to nottingham this weekend so if i come across any good local beers/pubs there i'll try and write something up about it. i know there's a west country beer festival on in one of the pubs we're planning on going to

Yep, you're already an author. In the front page you'll see a "Submit Article" link on the left panel. Just click that and you're in edit mode. Have a look at the FAQ for Authors[/url:13ucalnp], and if you have any other queries let us know, we'll add them to the FAQ <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) -->
