However, what I'm not sure is if that has counted things like crawl bots (from search engines), which would skew the figure. I blocked bots from the forum a few months ago, so they shouldn't do that now.

When we move over to the Beoir website I'll reset the counters so we can see what activity is really like today.

Oh, I can check the analytics logs and see if I have records going back to that date. Just a sec...

Actually, we had a huge burst of traffic on the 14th of August 2009, 559 unique visitors. On the 25th, 2009 there were 254, which is about the average we get today. So as far as I can see, there was nothing in particular to attract more visitors. I don't think the forum records who those were at that time, so cannot tell if there was an army of bots munching through the forum content or not on that date <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
