Brewing Industry International Awards 2011 15 years 9 months ago #1

After a break of six years, the Brewing Industry International Awards[/url:1w0iypkb] are on again next year, being held in Burton-on-Trent in February.

The Porterhouse, Carlow and Beamish are all past winners at this. It'd be nice to see some of the newer breweries giving it a go.

Entry is £150 per beer and the closing date is December 31st.

There'll also be a festival with the competing beers held after the judging. Could be worth going along to.

And as a follow up to this, congrats to Dungarvan on winning a bronze medal for Black Rock in the 3.8-4.7% ABV small-pack ale category, and to The Porterhouse whose Plain is officially the world's best 3.8-4.7% ABV dark beer.
