Not sure whats on the cards for tonight, I'll have to make a trip to the Vineyard.

I think I'll pick up a bottle of Thomas Hardys Ale, St Bernardus 12, Mc Chouffe 750ml and something hoppy like Sierra Nevada IPA or Celebration

Stayed on my regular pub beers Murphy's Friday and Sat but Sunday went to Bierhaus. Had my second ever bottle of Rochfort 8 (jury was out the first itme but this time definiteey got a thumbs up!!), a bottle of bishops FInger (nice, had not had this for ages), a pint of Glaway Hooker and two pints of Schnieder Weisse Hefe-Weisse - all in the correct glasses except Rochford 8 which came with a Leffe glass,, not complaining of ocurse. The Hefe-weisse on draught is very good. I ma a bit biased too towards Galway Hooker - lovely aftertaste. Going to Dublin for a work meeting so will most likely do my first visit to Messr. Maguires - might just be tempted to the Porterhosue for the Belgian beer gig instead - the things we have to do!!!!

I had some Orval over the weekend. I'm sold, it's just lovely. I love belgian abbey beers anyway and this is one of the best I've tried so far.

Hmmmmm. I had a bottle of this in my hand about 2 hours ago. I haven't had it in a few years, so I might have to go back and get some <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Yeah it's a nice one. I know you shouldn't be swayed by a bottle but it does look like there's something special in it <!-- s:-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s:-) -->

For this evenings drink I'm having a Delirium Tremens. From the outside it looks a bit dodgy what with the pink elephants and the dancing lizards on the front. It's really very nice, fruity and doesn't taste like it's 8.5% abv at all hence the name I presume...
