Im off on a stag this weekend to galway and much to my frustration ill miss the gathering on thur night. the barman assures me as long as he doesnt bar too many of ye it may happen again..so be on your best behaviour.
so can anyone suggest a few nice bars to take the lads(in galway)...well its really for me but they will enjoy it if i tell em to!
If you're looking for pubs with craft beer there are two in particular worth checking out. The Bierhaus on Dominick St. has Galway Hooker, O'Hara's stout and the likes of Hoegaarden, Budvar etc. on tap. They also have a wide selection of good bottled beer. Sheridan's on The Dock also have Hooker & O'Hara's along with Staropramen and again a good bottle selection - this pub is a bit more foody so I'm not sure how stag friendly it would be (depends on the stag I suppose).
Of course there are about a dozen pubs serving Hooker so you won't go too far wrong in any of those. Personally I think Neachtains (in the middle of Quay St. which is where most people end up anyway) and Roisin Dubh are good spots but it depends what you're after.
