Hey, just joined a couple of days ago. Been active on Beeradvocate.com for the last 4 years, reviewing and researching my beloved malted beverages... I've also been co-brewing with a friend for over a year, all grain of course... so far we've made everything from a ridiculously hopped Amarillo IPA at about 6%, to a few tasty session milds, a few good Landlord clones, a couple of big dark belgians and an Arrogant Bastard ale clone... which actually turned out to be 2%abv over its expected 7.2, twas a big bad hoppy beast.

Anyways, DrJohn gave me a heads up on the site and from the limited time I've spent on here so far I can see its going to be a very useful resource on the Irish bar and brewing scene
