I'm just back after my trip and I have to say it was very enjoyable. I didn't get to drink nearly enough beer though <!-- s:cry: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt="

Here are the few I got to sample:
- Heineken Tarwebok (bottle). Heavy-tasing beer but quite nice. Very malty. Don't know if I could drink it all night.
- Wiekse Witte (tap and bottle). Light and slightly fruity. This one you could drink all night. No need for the lemon slice in the glass though.
- La Chouffe (tap). Very tasty and strong, but only got to have one glass.
- De Koninck (tap). Very nice, tasty amber beer. Had lots of this <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="

- I also brought home a 6 pack of La Trappe Quadruppel (10%) bought in a supermarket for €6.80!
I made me sick to see a [u:hbswjsrs]crate[/u:hbswjsrs] of heineken (24 bottles) or grolsch for less than €10 !!
All in all, a nice intro to some more tasty beers.
Although I didn't find anything other than "standard" offerings, I was still impressed by the mix available and wonder why we can't get some of these here!
