Cold steep? Probably clever marketing.

Had one this evening, directly from the bottle I have to admit. I'm not sure if I could tell it from a normal lager, not too sure if the black stuff in the taste was only from knowing its Guiness? Very watery for 4,5ABV - I am not tring this again. Waste of money.

im having one right now and its not great to be honest. looks like the guinness extra btl but with a whiter head and much less head retention.
on the nose not much to be honest faint harp larger aroma with the ever so slightest hint of a roast barley.
taste well there is not much to be honest again poor quality larger with a dry finish and again the bareist aftertaste of dark roast malt
i must say i like the btl design its modern and eye catching and prob the best part of the whole package.

i have two btls here in balbriggan if anyone local wants to give it a go they are yours free of charge to the first to responders but i wouldnt waste to much fuel getting here its really not worth it

I'd love to try it to compare it with a classic Schwarzbier. At least I'm assuming this is what they were aiming for.
