Beggars bush on haddngton road has rebel red and its about a 15 minute walk, across the east link, to the O2

Take the Luas, but will be a bit of a (usually well-organised) queue after any O2 event. So any pub near a Luas (red line) stop works.

Messrs Maguires is about 15 mins walk (or short Luas trip) up the quays from the Point Depot.

....And I won't be calling Lansdowne Road the Aviva stadium either <!-- s:twisted: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_twisted.gif" alt=":twisted:" title="Twisted Evil" /><!-- s:twisted: -->

I've been to quite a few gigs there recently and the LUAS is by far the best option. Bit of a squeeze on the way in as it's a bit of a free for all. The way back is much better as there are stewards there to organise everything.

Just make sure you get a return ticket on your to the Point, it'll reduce the waiting time heading back into town.

<!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> It's still called the Point Depot on the list of LUAS stops.
