how cool is this!, three homebrewers who won the Sam Adams brewing contest in the states last year will have their recipes produced by the brewery and sold.

Anybody on for suggesting this to the porterhouse <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->

Not on the same scale but it's not unusual in the US for brewpubs to run competitions where the winning beer gets brewed and sold in the pub. Part of the prize is for the homebrewer to help out on the brewday.

believe it or not, I have had discussions with the Porterhouse about this already. I may annoy them again to see if I can get any further with it.

Sam Adams have run this competition for a couple of years now.. the brews are pretty decent too!
