Wow! I wasn't expecting this many - I'll have to tidy up the gaff now!
Assuming all goes well, shall we say Saturday the 8th of May in Bray then? Around 2-3pm ish?
If people want to bring their own beers as well, and we can have a bit of a mini monthly tasting session. And theres always Porterhouse Bray on the way back to the Dart statyion
This is of course based on the fact that I can make 3 beers successfully in 1 weekend
So, just curious, but I assume you're gonna try and make these as alike as possible, so kit, then an extract version of that kit and an AG version, same hops, same yeast, the works? Will be a cool experiment!
I was thinking that, but I'm sure you could approximate it. At the very least, it'll be easy to create an extract and AG beer close enough to each other. Do any of the kits give an indication of the proportion of the grain bill used to make them?
Nope - the best I can do is guess based on the IBU and the abv and try to make something a bit similar... I'm guessing that this will make the kit beer stick out a bit like a sore thumb... Maybe if I dry hop them all that might help a bit...?
