so then, without intending to trivialise alcohol addiction, since I've started on my homebrew journey two or three months ago I've definitely developed a fond little habit of having a bottle or two nearly every single night. I've actually had to up production because demand is outstripping supply <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="

at the moment I have 60 bottles of lager which along with the help of the wife will last only a couple of weeks. I;m afraid that I probably dont even realise how good a homebrew can be cause I've tended to open a bottle a mere two weeks after bottling (quality control if you will) and if it's good then its hard not to move onto the rest of em.
I have another lager and a stout brewing at the moment, hopefully the stout will get a better chance to mature cause the wife wont drink it and I'll probably alternate between the stout and lager. I'm hoping to try extract or grain brewing soon as I assume these can be better again
anyway I dunno if this is a confession or an observation. Is this just a novelty thing that all new homebrewers go through? Is the beer that much better than commercial stuff or is it just the self satisfaction of having brewed it that adds to the taste. anyone else find themselves drinkin every night?(kinda personal eh?...this is a beer forum though!)
