I'm thinking about starting a microbrewery in Ireland next year.
I want to get some feedback on what potential costs/setbacks/hurdles I would have to overcome?
Also, how difficult is it for microbreweries to get pubs/offlicenses to sell their ale? Is there a prohibitive cartel in place between all the larger breweries? How common are pure breweries versus breweries with pubs on premisis?
What is the cost difference between microbrews in Ireland versus regular breweries in pubs and off licenses?
