I recently read a couple of months ago that the Porterhouse are going to start bottling there beers and selling them in off licences, just wondering is this still going ahead.

Yes, it's still going ahead, and I heard on the rumour mill last week that it is very imminent indeed.

There was an interview in latest edition of the Sunday Times with Oliver Hughes. It mentioned the bottling facility and specifically referred to their stouts and the fact that HopHead was being lined up for export to the US market. It also mentioned that they were going to be tragetting their exports on the 'BRIC' countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China).

Other items of note were the continuing plans for the whiskey distillery in Dingle and their hopes to have a brewery/brewing museum facility 'close to Dublin city'.

With a bit of luck they'll do something weird and interesting for the Scandinavian and American geek market, and we might just get the odd crumb from that table.
