Belgian breweries on (Belgian) TV 16 years 9 months ago #1

For anyone who might speak a bit of Dutch, a Belgian colleague pointed me to a TV show running on Belgian TV right now where Ray Cokes (yes, from when MTV played music) and Jean Blaute (TV producer, musician etc...) are touring Belgian breweries. I see from the clips that they also visit "Belgian" breweries in the US, as well as the likes of Brooklyn. From what I've been told it's an excellent program.

Clips are here[/url:2gc9kz7o].

General episode guides are here[/url:2gc9kz7o].

Just when you thought you were the last person on earth to remember Ray Cokes...

He appears to have morphed from the Lost Chuckle Brother to Barry McGuigan.

I had to look him up to see what the hell he's been doing since MTV. Apparently he's been in Berlin hosting a German Internet radio thingy for the past year. Multi-talented!

One of the earlier clips involves Westvleteren, but I can't seem to be able to open it on this VPNed connection.

The program is indeed excellent, and then some. It has probably interested more laymen into craftbeer, than us labouring and proselyting for 25 years...[/color:3w2yhgvw]

That's the link I had above actually. It was more a problem with my office network.

Glad there's a mix of languages too <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
