Diageo gets court order over pickets 17 years 2 weeks ago #1

"The company said that if production continued to be halted, the yeast in the process would die and it would take up to 28 days to restart production, causing delays in supply and the possibility that a significant number of employees would have to be laid off."
From here[/url:remmh263]. 28 days seems like a long time to get yeast going again.

Are you suggesting that Diagio is telling us a fib? What next? Calling the necessity if the two part pour into question?

God knows , they might actually be forced to make beer

No I am not claiming that.

[quote:xjcsfuc7]Calling the necessity if the two part pour into question?[/quote:xjcsfuc7]

They never seem to have claimed that in court though.

But they are claiming to be incapable of culturing yeast, from what I can see.

Looking at it that way , if diageo is that dependent on just 7 electricians , I reckon they should just give them the 11% increase they are looking for

Or switch to gas maybe .
