well i failed miserably in getting into 'odd/new' beers really. ended up drinking lots of berliner pilsner which was fine, have a bottle of strawberry porter on its way back (in my mates checked in bag) and a bottle of alt, i'm sure the former will be disgusting but need to know.
really only saw the main brands available in the bars i was in. had a sion kolsch which was really really bland and pointless really, very little taste in a tiny 200ml glass that makes you think it's going to be really strong.
