Anyone got any recommendations for bars/beers in Berlin? Heading over there the weekend after next, will be going with non-beer enthusiasts so if anyone has recs for a decent bar that might not necessarily have the greatest beer selection that would be okay too.

Just to add that the Berlin Beer Festival[/url:31f3bwlw], the so-called Beer Mile, happens in August (7th - 9th).

I was going to go, but an travelling to the States that weekend. My timing sucks.

Oh, I've asked a Berliner colleague for recommendations for brew pubs etc in Berlin for ya Derek.
