yeah it was a great tasting and cool to meet all of you... thanks to Riven for all the great beers and anecdotes from the dutch beer scene.... wanna go there myself <!-- s:-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="

" title="Smile" /><!-- s:-) -->and thanks to Dave, the BierHaus is a great place for tastings!
I took notes on the different beers... my personal favorite was Brouwerij de Molen Rasputin... heavy imperial stout with lots of burned malt, lots of liquorice, dark coffee and chocolate, well balanced sweet and bitter and warming alcohol. As well the other beers from De Molen, Amarillo and Heen&Weer was great. The good thing is I will be working in a stand next to de Molen at the coming weekend Beerfestival in Copenhagen <!-- s:-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="

I aggree with Denis, the beers from Brouwerij 'tIJ Struis and Columbus was great as well... with a nice sour touch in the finish.
As far as I rememer the favorite of Dave and others were Stadsbrouwerij De Hemel, Marikenbier, ligth with bitter finish. well this was before Rasputin, maybe it changed their minds.
And I think both Wallacebiys Eden Ale and my beer shows that handbrews easily can compare with some of the commercials <!-- s:-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="
