Took advantage of this offer yesterday. Used it to get a range of beers that I wouldn't normally get in my local offie.

I wonder are any offies big enough so offer home brew supplies too? Would be great to walk in to an off license and get some good beer, and supplies for your next batch.

Homebrewers will always buy beer as unless they have enough space and time, they will always have to wait weeks/months to drink their beer so still need something in the meantime... That and we all just enjoy good beer so it would not take business away from the off-license, on the contrary it would attract home brewers who would not normally go to that off license as it is not convenient.

It would be pretty handy when you realise you do not have enough DME etc to jump in the car and go get some.

That's something I thought of doing before but unfortunately I just wouldn't have the space I've only a tiny shop which is already packed with too much stuff it is very difficult to manage sometimes .We nickname our stores 'the tardis' cause sometimes it amazes me just how much we fit in.

I think it's a good idea though particularly with home brew/beer with a flavour being a growing sector. You just have to look at Australia it's a huge sector of the market.
Maybe in the future If I extend I might do it but in the meantime I wouldn't be surprised if one of my colleagues in the trade ran with the idea.

decent selection of beers...no prices though. Has this site been like that for long does anyone know? (as in the 'coming soon' bit)
