TheBeerNut Offline Posts: 11663	The Tale of the Hilden Polypin is an old ICB legend, dating all the way back to 2007. Perhaps one of our venerable elders would like to tell it. I've not been impressed by any of Hilden's bottled beers. If you're going to make the trip, do it the last weekend in August when the festival's on.

noby Offline Posts: 1810	Blonde and Headless Dog are College green beers, a sister company. Headless dog, halt, and Hilden ale are all solid beers, although I had them from the cask as opposed to the bottles. Not sure of the legend, but they brought down pins to the Easterfest in Cork, by prior arrangement.

I don't know if it's in regular production, but it should be. Frances wouldn't tell me what it's made from.
