Scandalous behaviour, name and shame the bar, no bar should be allowed to get away with this type of attitude and (probably) still complain that punters are not as sociable as they used to be.

as i'm from cork could you pm me the name of the bar so that i know not to drink there.

Iwould agree with BITR - name and shame !!!!

It is clearly a rip off and should not be accepted anywhere. I think it is very easy to say what one would say/do until you are in the position yourself. You obviously did not want to get barred from there for the week-end but this behaviour is not right.

the problem with naming and shaming is that it would lead the site open to legal action, so while we all would like to know the name of the pub this isn't the forum for it.
