Foreign breweries don't exhibit at the GBBF. The Dogfish Head beers at the BSF bar will be bottled Indian Brown Ale, 90 Minute IPA and Palo Santo Marron (which also looks very interesting).

I think the 90 minute was great on draft, harsh in the bottles. I did not like the Indian Brown at all.

I haven't had the palo santo marron at all.

You should get a group to come out stateside for a mini beer tour (always good to meet folks from back home for a pint). There are a couple of quality breweries within a 2 hour drive of DC, including Flying Dog (which moved all the production from Colorado to Frederick, just north of DC), Appalachian Brewing, Troegs, Lancaster, Old Dominion.

And some great brewpubs in the area, Rock Bottom, Dogfish Head, District Chophouse, Capital City Brewing, Gordon Biersch.

And of course.. Brickskellars, a pub with 700+ types of beers, it's really a sight to behold

I would be more than willing to act as tour guide <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

Tour Guide, not B&B.

The dollar isn't worth a damn now (as I found out when booking flights home for christmas).

On a serious note, it would be a good time to travel (well, maybe october or november, prices are cheaper) to the states and do a beer tour

I had one of the Dogfish Head beers in New York last year, but I can't remember if it was the 60 or 90 minute. It's entirely possible I had both, one draught and one bottle. Whichever it was though I remember not thinking all that much of it. I prefer Goose Island IPA a million times over.

And the Stone Ruination IPA, that was great <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
