With apologies for bringing this back on topic, only one Irish brewer entered the drinks competition. So best of luck to the Porterhouse on Sunday.

Cool I think Hop Head deserves an award. It's mighty tasty.

Gold medal in the drinks category went to Porterhouse Red -- congratulations to Peter and the guys.

Perhaps even more significantly, the bronze went to Double L Bone Dry cider. I really hope this will lead to it being more widely available in Ireland -- if ever a drink deserves to be in every decent off licence and artisan food shop, it's this. David also picked up a silver medal for his Balsamic Cider Vinegar in the newcomer/new product category.

Great to see them doing so well

I also see Llewellyn's won sliver for their Llewellyn's Balsamic Cider Vinegar

Two medals form the same product, not bad at all
