Won't be in actual paper until Sunday, but is online today...it's a travel piece but I got an item about The Porterhouse in there.

You can quibble about my taste in other things as I am an ignorant American (although it was the editor that made me change some items) but you know i got the beer right!

Thanks to Dr. John for his tour of Dub a few years back, (which helped set some of this up)

Good to see The Winding Stair getting a mention as it's about the only proper restaurant in Dublin with a decent beer list.

Shame about the Bulmer's font being in the foreground of the picture: kinda ruins the point of the photo

And, AFAIK, quite a lot of our Georgian architecture is actually Victorian. Sure what's the rush?

Nice work George. I'm glad to see that Philo also gets a mention. So that moonlight stroll after our brews in Mssrs Maguires was not wasted on ya!

And yes; I had a nice meal and St Peter's organic ale in the Winding Stairs two weeks back.

John: I made SURE I got Phil in the article and knew you'd be tickled.

Beernut: Serendipitously, "Beer Nut" is the name of the weekly column I write for a daily paper over here!

cheers

Yeah, shame about Bulmers but I'm sure they were just trying to get the Wrasslers XXXX and Oyster Stouts in the shot (which they managed to do)...also, if you squint, you can see Hoooker in the photo!

I tried a while back to figure out which of us started using the name first. My legal team were wondering if you go back further than 28 April 2005[/url:1epen3c1]?
