Hi,

I am a new member. Just bottled my second brew today. Made a few brews a long time ago and they were a disaster. Was put right off home brew for ages. Met Adeptus at a meeting (non-beer related work) and got chatting to him about home brew. It was a far cry from the 'I can't afford beer, so I will make some' level that I used to operate at. After that I got some basic gear and a kit and was delighted with the results. So were most of the people who tasted it - and all of the people who tasted it whose opinions I value
That first one was coopers real ale. Today's brew is Munton's Yorkshire bitter. Seems nice too. I reckon I will be trying something a bit more complicated for my next brew, but for the moment I just have to wait for this stuff to condition and then I'm drunk!

Betterbrew! Sorry for the delayed response, just cathing up on posts having been away. Glad you took the plunge again, and even happier it washed away your bad memories

As you can see, I've left the old job and headed to Der Vaterland, so haven't made a brew in a few months now, but soon... very soon
