[quote:3uhh47zz]the big problem is that the labelling is all wrong for sale in Ireland. The volume is measured in ounces.[/quote:3uhh47zz]Is this a legal issue? I have a feeling that the Rogue beers that came in had the back label 'stickered over' to show metric volume etc.

Yep, all bottles have to be marked wuth Emperical measurements.
Any american beer imported from england will already have a replacement sticker to help things along.
The americans wont do it based on the cost of producing 330ml bottles and matching labels.

Yeah, spotted the Brooklyn Lager and Brooklyn East India Pale Ale in the B&C last night, and thought maybe I hadn't been imagining things. The lager had metric measurements on it, but the PA was just measured as 12oz.

I'd largely be one to say stuff the fuckers and the stickering over, but I guess if it's Euro law that it has to be in metric......

But if ye can get the stout, please do keep us informed

Is Brooklyn Lager new in the B&C or have I missed it all this time?

Picked up a bottle of the Brooklyn East India Pale Ale the other day in The Abbot's in Cork, didn't see the stout, though
