Decent off-licences in Dublin 8/6/6W? 10 years 1 week ago #1

Hi,

Since the Next Door on Sundrive closed down I've been a bit lost for a local off-licence. I've been to the two in Rathgar a few times, regularly hike over to The Drinkstore and was suitably impressed by a stop-off at Baggot Street Wines, despite the name.

I'm bored with the Supervalu offerings, even though they are very decent for a supermarket and increasing monthly.

I'd be grateful if anyone could recommend any decent offies in Dublin 8/6/6W or that vicinity.

Much obliged

Stephen

Redmond's of Ranelagh is one of the best in the country. Deveney's in Rathmines is great too. And out the other end, the Mace at the end of the South Circular, opposite the entrance to James's Hospital, is apparently brilliant, though I've never been.

All are on the map[/url:2vt6xsps].

The Mace on the SCR at the back entrance to James' hospital has a great selection. I think they claim a couple of hundred.

All of the above...also, Corks in Terenure has seriously improved. Can't compete when Redmonds but more than decent selection if needed

KCR petrol station has craft- and usually has some deals too (at one stage had 3 Hi Viz for a tenner!!!).

Hearing Deveney's Rathmines has a closed-until-further-notice sign up. Anyone know what's up?
