was on boards.ie the other day and saw that a lot of you guys were involved in irishcraftbeer.com, was this just a pre-incarnation of irishcraftbrewer.com if so were all the posts transferred, memberships kept etc. i assume that is what happened but it is would be interesting to know the background of this wonderful site.

Yup, what it doesn't say in the link TBN posted is that all the content from the old site was transferred. The forum categories have changed, but pretty much all the posts are here, and all the member details too. This is why you see join dates that predate the launch of IrishCraftBrewer.com (the official launch was 17th March 2007, the day after our first tasting session in Séan's kitchen which was excellent)
