Has anyone done it? Tempted to do it as flights and accommodation are incredibly cheap.

I did half of it last year and will be visiting the other 4 pubs next week, on the way to the Manchester Beer Festival. I enjoyed the Riverhead Brewery Tap and the Stalybridge Station Refreshment Rooms. The Commercial in Slaithwaite had a great range of cask but there was a bit of a squeeze at the bar from early on. I could take or leave the Railway Inn in Greenfield. The train cuts through a lovely part of England. Real Last of the Summer Wine country.

I'm just back from it for my stag trip.

Amazing journey, fantastic beers and a real experience! If you need anything at all, my brother did up an incredible itinerary.

What we did was actually went from Leeds right the way out to Satlybridge to 'The Buffet Bar' - which as it happens was the highlight of the day. Excellent spot. We worked our way back into Leeds then.

Organise a head of time to get to the Riverhead Brewery Tap in Marsden at a time when they're serving food and giving tours...well worth it!
