TOPIC:

The Three Tun tavern have just announced their new prices on Twitter- A range of pints coming in at less than €3. And Fosters on cask.

I don't mind a bargain but it strikes me that these prices are too cheap- fortunately there's no Irish craft involved.

I suppose that have done their maths, but as they grow I can see them have a downward pressure on prices ion the areas that they operate. Or at least the pubs to up their game and offer something different.

With 8 degrees expanding and rye river coming on strea we may see them on permanent trap sometime in the future. Such breweries are possibly lager enough to benefit from economies of scale to sell into them, but time will tell.

I did not think fosters was on cask, just it was going to be one of the guest ales ?

Is it promotional? I doubt it is. Looks like they were gauging sales with their managaers specials at 2e a pint. 3e pint is kind of an increase. I think theses proces are what people expected when the opened

Interesting. Kind of does feel too cheap though, I look forward to hearing the "watered down" comments.

Via Maris table beer for €3.50 with a Beoir voucher does me fine.
