On my travels this evening had an interesting craft beer experience, staying in the Cavan Crystal Hotel and well done to them for having in bottles of Carrick Pilsner which was first class, American Amber(Not so great <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt="" title="Sad" /><!-- s:( -->) and 3 from Bru including Rua.
I wanted to finally put to bed issues I had with Rua in the past and ordered one, the barmaid gave me a cold bottle from the fridge and put beside it on the bar a pint glass full of ice.
Whats the ice for I enquired and asked for a pint glass, "Thats for your beer" "Why would I want to put ice in my beer its already cold", too cold truth be told. "Thats how we drink it around here"

Is there an hourly room rate there too?

Maybe the barman thought it was cider...
