There are ads for them on bus stops up here but I've seen no sign of them anywhere.

Same down here, for the bottles at least.

Off topic; but now in the US there's to be this:

Guinness & Co. has introduced a new beer - Guinness, The 1759 - that the company says is the first in line of limited edition luxury beers. The beer is made with both traditional beer malt and the same peated whisky malt used in Scotch and Irish whiskies as well as Guinness yeast. "The United States is driving a beer renaissance that hasn’t been seen globally for decades. Today, the expectations of beer connoisseurs and enthusiasts are significantly higher," Guinness brand manager Doug Campbell said for a press release. Guinness will produce 90,000 bottles of the beer, packaging them in a black velvet lined gift boxes. Suggested price for a 750ml bottle is $34.99. A press release suggest serving the 9% ABV beer in a champagne flute and says it has a "rich butterscotch aroma with subtle hop notes" and "mellow, caramel flavors combine with a subtle hop character and fruity sweetness from the strong ester profile.".

Picked up both the bottles in Manchester last week. The Dublin Porter was rather disappointing and thin - just a more watery thinner version of regular Guinness in bottles with a bit more bitter roast in the finish. Uninspiring and dull.
The West Indies Porter was much better - rather a dull aroma for a 6% Porter (really came across as a stout to me) but some nice deep dark fairly sweet malts in there, dark chocolate, soft burnt roast, some of the usual Guinness dry roast with a medium body and soft carb. I thought it was quite decent.
