I can't agree with that article. Of course it matters who's behind the beer you buy. I still drink some of the crafty stuff but an organisation like the Brewers Association (or Beoir) need to stick up for real, independent brewers to help grow the industry/scene. Thats pretty much the opposite of what InBev and Miller Coors are doing when they buy up breweries. They want to smother the independents and take their market share.
Of course it doesn't change the taste of Widmer, Kona, Redhook, Goose Island, FranWell, etc but it sure as hell changes their place in the industry.
