Was in here last night for the Imelda May album launch, and they have a great selection of craft beers, had a SN Ruthless Rye from draught from the free bar, yeah i said "A" ruthless Rye as I had to drive later on, bugger. Great gig, my wife likes her and we won the tickets, but the gig was brilliant and shes so nice and down to earth, and her new album is very good too, she was great on late late earlier.

Will put quirky Thomas House on my must drop into list the next time i'm in town from now on.

It is a great pub but it annoys me a bit when pubs like this have some foreign craft beer (including some that's hard to get anywhere else) and nothing locally made.

if that's their selling point then fair enough...plenty of other places specialising in local or a mix of both.

They have porterhouse red and hop head on tap. Also guinness which is made VERY locally to the Thomas House! This is a great little boozer. Reminds me of dive bars in american movies.

In fairness the lads were the first to show me 5lamps lager and Stone Barrel Boom when I used to drop in for haircut on Saturday afternoons, the place has a very American feel to it, as part of overall ambience but Kev and Gar know their roots...
