I have been contacted by the organisers of the Dublin mini maker faire and asked if we would be interested in getting involved.

The “Faire” itself will be on July 14th but there is a kick off meeting tomorrow evening in the Science Gallery at 6pm (some food, meet other makers and we will be announcing the plans for the Faire). I can't commit to this myself and will not be able to attend the meeting. If you are interested in getting involved in this, let me know and I will put you in contact with the relevant people.

Maker Faires are weekend things where people show off all the cool stuff they make <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="makerfaire.com/">makerfaire.com/

This will be the first one in Ireland. We could show anything from how to make cider in a coke bottle to how to make a full microcontroller controlled brewing system.

The make nights are good fun, the one before Christmas was about making electonic Christmas jumpers
