There are a few of us from Waterford staying overnight on the Saturday night looking at the Maldron for its proximity to the Well and the Bierhaus

I was looking at the Maldron but it's pricey, around €89 for that night.

Not as convenient but a lot cheaper even including taxis is the Travelodge near the Kinsale Road roundabout. Just booked a room there for €35 for that night.

Looks like I'm going so! <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

BTW, I live beside the suburban rail station in Leixlip, which is about 25 minutes from Connolly station for connections with the DART, so if anyone wants a lift down to Cork on the Saturday and back on the Sunday, I will be driving.

If your looking for a cheap option for accomadition there are 2 decent Hostels within easy walking distance of the well!

I'm heading down with the girlfriend on the train early on Friday at lunchtime. Staying Friday and Saturday night.

Excited. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Yes there was a big difference in price between Friday and Saturday. We opted for Isaacs in the end, costing €32.50 each for the night and ~10 mins walk from the Well
