Congratulations to Stephen on organising this. Thoroughly enjoyable evening, well attended (despite the weather) and even though there were a few Beoir heads present it was nice to see plenty of people there to take the plunge into craft beer.

Naturally enough, it helped to have a seriously fun and knowledgeable speaker to guide our way through 5 beers.

Kudos to Stephen for showing some initiative and fingers crossed it pays off and plenty more attend later tasting nights and are converted to good tasting beer. I certainly will be encouraging a few people from the area to drop in for the next one.

I think my choices of beer[/url:exzs2n94] worked out. There certainly wasn't much left in the open bottles at the end.

Sounds like a great evening. I see there is going to be a brewdog tasting next! I might have to wander along to that! Couldn't make it last night due to studying! But I'm definately free next month!

What's the damage for the tasting?

Also, bus or luas? (does the luas go anywhere near?) How best to get to that part of town?
